Since its inception, Blubirch committed its purpose as serving society. India is a middle-income country with over 600 million people below the age of 35. It is important that a significant number of these people get opportunities for earning their livelihood. Through our Young Entrepreneurs Program, we support aspiring entrepreneurs through training, providing inventory at preferential rates and constant mentoring.

80% of India's population live in the rural areas of India where a lot of new age products are out of reach both in terms of availability and price. Through our widely distributed network of resellers in Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities we are making these products available at affordable prices. We also work with multiple enterprises and NASSCOM Foundation to provide refurbished laptops to individuals, small businesses and startups who could otherwise not afford it. In the last 4 years, we have re-deployed more than 2M units with end users.

Environmental Value

Blubirch provides a responsible manner for enterprises, retailers, manufacturers and customers to engage in sustainable commerce. This is the core of our business model and a key measure of our success. Traditionally excess and returned inventory is either put into landfill or goes through multiple logistics hops before reaching the end user. Our solution helps companies to eliminate waste from returns and unsold inventories, put inventories back in the hands of new users with least logistic hops and recycle non-sellable products through recyclers.

Our solution helps clients to keep 98% plus inventory away from landfill and put in the hands of new users. On an average our clients are able to reduce unwanted returns by 15% and reduce returned product movement by 25%.

Traditionally retailers and OEM's have relied on manual processes to inspect and dispose returns, resulting in revenue leakages from incorrect assignment and delays. Also, unsold and returned inventories are liquidated through a small pool of resellers. This process is highly inefficient, lacks transparency, is open to manipulation and is non-scalable.

Our comprehensive data driven solution provides end to end item level tracking and granular insights to eliminate revenue leakages. Our B2B liquidation platform provides complete transparency and access to 1000’s of resellers to enable optimal recovery from secondary sale. On average our clients realize incremental value of approximately 37% over the traditional methods of liquidation.
